In the developmental stride of 2019/2020, Amanzi proudly introduced the V-MODUL on the RACE14 prototype, extending its influence along the entire bottom. Initially subtle yet inherently powerful, this design propelled the board to the zenith of speed, especially at 28" width. Challenges surfaced in maintaining equilibrium during paddling, igniting a quest for a solution to prevent edge-to-edge weight distribution shifts.
The mission was clear-forge a board seamlessly integrating V-MODUL for superior performance without compromising stability. Amanzi's journey into inflatable SUP boards dates back to 2013, with audacious attempts in 2015 that paved the way for groundbreaking ideas-akin to landing on Mars, where failure was a stepping stone to success.
The objective: Implement V-MODUL on future boards, mitigating the demand to maintain a straight paddling position without excessive weight distribution shifts. A meticulous and precise process focused on integrating V-MODUL, utilizing top-notch bonding materials for a flawless PVC weld.
The unique design incorporates an initial line created with the Front Tracker, followed by V-MODUL running till 30% of the board's length, concluding in a flat bottom in the standing area-ensuring balance and preventing weight shifts during strokes.
